Infantry Elements of the Battle of Kursk
In the Battle of Kursk, the German forces had over 780,000 men, this may seem like a lot, but compared to the Soviet 2 million infantry force, it is nothing. The German weapons, on the other hand, were more reliable and much more durable than the mass produced Mosin and PPSh. When fitted with a telescopic sight, each weapon would become more deadly and have more range allowing first contact at longer distances. Being able to engage enemies at longer distances allow you to keep your enemies further away, therefore lessening the risk of being overwhelmed.
